This cover feature for Alpha Phi Quarterly spotlighted the first-ever leadership retreat for the organization, which took place at Walt Disney World Resort. They wanted to pay homage to the magic of Disney, but we had to be careful about potential copyright violations.

I leaned into the magical aspect, using a customized Photoshop brush to intertwine a little fairy dust into each of the spreads. I also organized the design elements on the opening spread to be in a subtle Mickey Mouse shape. If you also grew up in the 90s-00s, you’ll remember the Disney Channel shorts where kids would trace Mickey’s head and ears with a magic wand…that was my inspiration here!
